Can you help abandoned and neglected cats?

Our rescue centre provides a safe haven for up to 75 cats at a time, but with rising costs over the past few years, we are struggling to keep going. We can't do it without your support.

Meet our rescue cats

Queenie arrived at Gables with a skin condition so distressing that she scratched her neck raw. After intensive medical care, she made a full recovery and is now living with a wonderful new, loving family.

Affectionately named, Lumpy Larry arrived with tightly matted fur and a large tumour on his face. After essential surgery to remove the tumour, he was able to make a full recovery and to be rehomed to a new, loving family.

We took in four kittens who had been abandoned in the middle of the heatwave. Covered in fly eggs, struggling to breathe, they were given emergency fluids and were then hand-reared before being rehomed.

When Larry arrived at Gables, we discovered he was having seizures due to a liver shunt. After life-saving surgery, Larry made a full recovery and found a loving new home.

Despite being fed by several people, Cloudy had a damaged eye and hadn't seen a vet for years. We took him in and arranged for the veterinary treatment needed, after which we found him a caring new home.

Aye-Aye was found collapsed and underweight. After urgent medical care, she has now found a special home where she can comfortably enjoy her retirement years.
